Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC) at Mahesh Institute of Professional Studies, Barmer
The Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC) at Mahesh Institute of Professional Studies, Barmer envisions creating an inclusive society. At the college level, the cell is dedicated to create pathways for students with disabilities and those from marginalized sections of society. Special support is provided to slow learners and those who need additional help through a variety of means such as remedial and extra classes. The College has constructed ramps, railings, accessible washrooms and Braille-enabled sign boards for differently abled persons. The cell organizes activities aimed to initiate conversations on various barriers confronting students with disabilities and other forms of social exclusion, build empathy, and to motivate them to overcome societal barriers.
Our mission is to foster an environment of awareness, equity and equal opportunity, promoting social inclusion, diversity, and cohesion within our institution.
